How sturdy did the prop come out to be? Being cardboard primarily it wouldn't be very tough right?

Well, as long as you don't sneeze on it, it should be fine. Though in all seriousness it can take some surprising amounts of abuse, it really just depends on what you plan on doing with it. Now if it were to get rained on, then it'd definitely be screwed.
