@DubFanLatino6 жыл бұрын

Absolutely incredible! How long did it take you to design your custom PCB's? Have you now considered using the ESP8266 for the next iteration? Just imagine the capabilities! ESP8266 also features IRDA decoding
@macieksoft10 жыл бұрын
Very nice. This watch looks better than all commercial wathches i ever seen. But i think that adding a white LED as flashlight would be better idea than using display as flashlight. IR LED? Why not. Adding basic TV remote control would be usefull.

Looks very nice, and I read that price was around ~35GBP, that good.
@MaxSMoke7777 жыл бұрын
Good thing you never sweat.. or bump into anything... experience rain, wash your hands... lol Seriously, very cool! But I might suggest moving the battery down to part of the strap, moving the wires down, perhaps casting it inside of an acrylic shell using a mold and epoxy resin. The epoxy alone would make it shock and water resistant. Moving the buttons and battery into the strap would make it much thinner.

Bravoo - you are a real genius hardworker and the watch is really great, really great - just make a nice case for it - maybe golden case with level diminishing borders! You can also put the battery separated on the bracelet in another small case for thin watch profile! Thanks for sharing, keep going!

how did you fit the entire program in a single Atmel ATmega328P ??
@taozhengbo35087 жыл бұрын
use usbasp programmer.
@dsfromsomewhere5 жыл бұрын
I know, the question is old, but, can help people always. You guys, doesn't need a USBasp programmer for a 328p chip. Just use the Arduino UNO board and the Arduino IDE. After upload the code, just remove the Atmega 328p from board carefully. Thats it.

@deschampsjeff9 жыл бұрын
Hi, I have a question. Did you use just the 3,7v battery to feed? The lcd screen works with 3,7v? I'm interested to do a similar project, but I'm worried about feed.
@ZakKemble9 жыл бұрын
Jefferson Deschamps The display takes 2 voltage supplies, for the digital logic section it can be between 1.65V and 3.3V and for the internal charge pump it can be between ~2.4V and 5V. The watch powers the digital section via a 2.5V regulator and the charge pump section is connected to the battery. So you usually only need a regulator for the digital section.
@deschampsjeff9 жыл бұрын
Zak Kemble Thanks for replying!! It's nice if the lcd module works with less than 3.7V. Your project is very amazing.
