Looks like it works pretty Well I would switch to a 12Volt Electric Winch and use a Bttery Pack with a Solar Charger you can get those Winches fairly Inexpensively online or even at Harbor Freight I like the Overall Simplicity of the Lift Design

Could you use a pulley and have the crank arm on the lift? Like for a kayak? So you don't have to get out and climb up in order to use the lift.
@everettogden81323 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael. I guess that's theoretically possible but there's a good deal of force involved so I'd advise against it. The force increases the more the lift has to travel. Also I'm having a hard time picturing how it would be built without being overly complex. As far as raising the lift while still in the kayak, you could use a winch with a remote control. The one in the link below from Harbor Freight is around $100. I hope that helps. www.harborfreight.com/automotive/winches/zxr-2500-lb-atvutility-winch-with-wire-rope-and-wireless-remote-control-56258.html

Best homemade design by far great job buddy! What's the chances of this working for a jet ski roughly 650 lb.. any idea?

A jet ski around 650 lbs might be too much for something like this. It would probably have to be beefed up and you'd probably need more pulling power. It depends how much vertical travel you have.

@@everettogden8132 I have a DIY sliding lift with Starboard "PVC" lift with a manual winch not as good as yours hauling a heavy old 3 up seadoo and it works well. Think you could use 4x4 posts for the legs or even go with six legs.

Mr.Everett how can I find plan this .

You can't. I sketched it out on paper and made a tweak or two as I built it. Thx
