I have used the Velcro idea before for a project my girls did in schools. It is easier to put the pieces together and glue them down then glue the sides shut. For me it was.

Thats my favorite part of the pillow. Its so easy to clean along with being easy to make!

@@TheShabbyTree, YES!!! I just made a pillow with fabric glue and a back envelope style opening. This way we can wash it too. Even if you use poly fill. You can take out the stuffing and wash it!!
