Hi Frozen gals. Thank you for your post. I am a professional costume character & buy my mascots. Unfortunately my Elsa mascot dress & cape is made very cheaply & is ripping all over. (head is great). Any time I try to make something from youtube, it doesn't always work for me the same way. However, I just tried the white sleeves & it looks great. Thanks. Now I just have to make the top shiny part of the dress. I also bought some beautiful material that matches the mascot dress perfectly. I owe that to my boyfriend & younger girls for picking it out. Not only will your ideas work to cover holes but the dress is at least 2xs my size, so it will tighten the dress on me. You girls "Snow Ball" (get it? like, Rock. Lol) keep on & post more. Thanks.

Nice ideas, but using hot glue on fabric is not something you want to do if you want to wear the costume for a long time. I know by experience that hot glue don't work to well on fabric and it will eventually "let it go" and the parts will fall apart. It's better to use like fabric glue or to actually sew it. ^^
