i love the idea made a few but every time each tutu rips on the bottom and of the crochet headband, is that normal

+Nancy Aquino Thanks for watching! The ripping may be caused by a few different things. (It has happened to me.) 1. It could be the quality of your tutu top. Some are better made than others. I usually purchase them from thehairbowcompany.com. I have used all kinds but some are harder to work with than others. 2. The tulle may be too stiff. Some brands or colors are stiffer than others, making the tulle harder to loop. You can help this by gently stretching/pulling the pieces between your hands before applying them to the crochet top. 3. It may be the application process. You have to be very careful to support the crochet top while gently pulling the loops tight. It takes a while to get the hang of it. Happy Tutu-ing!! xoxo

Other ideas if you dont have a manquin, are a rolled up cushion. I taped it around to keep it tight and pushed a thick cardboard tube inside from a roll of tin foil , A kitchen roll, or two taped together tightly.
