For your trivet, I would actually recommend using E6000 glue because the rocks will warm up as you place hot pots on it. That makes the hot glue subject to that heat, too, and may loosen their bond. I have also had good luck with the Dollar Stores' E6000 equivalent that they call "Fix All Adhesive". I actually used it when I made my front door mat that was made from these same rocks and a plain door mat that were all also bought from the Dollar Store

Rachel, the Trivet was genius!! I have these rocks and a cork pad; AND THAT COFFEE TABLE TRAY-I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU. My grandkids are always misplacing the remote. Never thought to use the many frames I have as a tray. I'm doing this TOMORROW!!

I'm in Australia but we do have discount stores over here I call them $2 shops because mostly everything is $2 and over. Thanks for your ideas & bothering to show and describe them to us it is wonderful you want to share. And yes please do more if possible 🎋🎋🎋
