I have an craft idea that I got from Micheal's during Christmas. At Micheal's they had these "over priced" xmas decorations that could be made at home for a fraction of the price. They were these long plastic floral bunches of ferns, ivy or flowers that were spray painted with metallic gold or silver. Then some had glitter and seed beads sprinkled on them. Then arranged into wreaths, runners or in decorative pots for hanging. I thought this could be made at home easily by picking up some cheap plastic floral arrangements. Plus, they could be used for display all year round by changing up the color.

Any ideas on how to make foam cupcakes, ice cream cones, huge lollipops using dollar store finds? My daughter wants a candy/ sweets Christmas tree. We've seen ornaments at hobby lobby but as you know we love the challenge of finding or making decor much cheaper. Thanks for any input

Plus, I notice you mention Dollar Tree a lot for your purchases. Do you have a Dollar Tree that always consistently carry all these buys? Our local store isn't that consistent with their inventory.
