I made a few using the loop method. So far this is the easiest. The skewer is also cheaper than dowels. I like the different colors and lengths too. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for waiting so long to reply. The yarn is #4 and each strips are 4 inches for the large pieces, 2 inches for the medium pieces and the smallest pieces are 1-1/2 inches.
