These turned out so adorable, amazing work. You don't have to cut the mop strings off the mop. They just pull out, or you can open it up and cut off the black band in the middle, much easier and less time consuming. Tfs your cute gnomes and God Bless ☃️💕

I have never used gnomes anywhere or made one. They were just not something i paid any attention to. Until your gnomes. Im in love to the nth degree. Im super poor this Christmas and i need something absolutely fabulous for a gift for my daughter and her sweet 17 yr old daughter. BINGO. Gnomes. YOUR VERSION ALL THE WAY. I dont know if i can find everything at my DT? Maybe not. But i sew. So i can do the scarf somehow. But i love the black n red. So will. My girls. You have helped me tremendously and i love your way of presenting how to make it. No chit chat about things not pertaining to the project. Just get to it. So now i have 2 darling DIY things to sit and make and relax while doing it when all my other projects stress me out. Yours are easy fun and so so stinkin cute i could kiss you. Thank you doll baby and the beards are just the way i would make it if i was dreaming it up. Try using a small rubber band at the top, then yarn. Add a bay leaf to repel bugs.

I like your rendition of a gnome I like how you keep the bag ! That way no bugs will be able to get into the rice or lentils.

I read somewhere that if you put them in the freezer for awhile before using them, that it kills any eggs that might be in the rice.

if you leave the top of the sockon and cut it so it form two pieces, you can pull them down glue them into tube for arms, add little felt mittens, and not have to cut the top of the sock off, just a fun way to make it, the armswould be long enough to bring together in front of his tummy and he could hold a candy cane or poinsettia, or what ever. I made these with big felt feet stuck to the bottom and sticking out.

I am so glad I found your channel I think you are great what a wonderful personality you have. So far I have loved everything you make you are very talented lady. I know you are a Knitter here is a project you might be interested in. You can find it on Facebook it's called The Tempest Tree project. They have kits with the most wonderful yarn I've ever worked with. You can either knit or crochet it shows the temperature differences over the years they offer kits for different years .You can even get one for the year of your birth that's what I'm working on now. If you use a white sock or cream just make the nose out of the sock itself. Gather the fabric and tie with clear rubber band. The use blush to give the nose some color. So much easier

WOW! What an awesome idea just putting the whole bag of rice into the sock!!! I've done it the other way and it is MESSSSSYYYYY!!! Good thinking!! :) I've seen SO many tutorials on gnomes and this is the first time I've seen that! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS - that will keep those little mice from eating through the sock to get to the rice as well if it's in the bag! I opened my Christmas stuff this weekend and a mouse ate the rice right out of his bum!!! GOODNESSS!!!!

this is SUCH a cute video. I am going to try these gnomes as you make it look so easy! I have tried some other Christmas projects and was a complete fail.
