DIY DOLLHOUSE for my Daughter | How to build a plywood MODERN dollhouse | #16

Hello everyone and welcome back to Dutch Shed woodshop. This time I made a dollhouse for my daughter. This dollhouse is for her 5th birthday.
This dollhouse cost me about 10 to 12 hours of work. talk about two weeks. I have included everything from sawing to assembling and making the furniture. It was a fun and educational project to make. I also hope that you have found it fun and educational. Please let me know via a message.
The dollhouse is made of 18mm plywood. the legs come from an old table that I have obtained via the internet. The furniture is made of 6 mm birch plywood. The paint I used is water-based. This for the safety of my children.

18mm is pretty thick (and heavy). I thought 5mm or 9mm would do.

Thanks. It's not really heavy. But 12 or 9 mm could do it to indeed. I think 5 would be to thin.

Very nice little project, I saw it on the intro to one of your other videos and had to find it. I've just done somthing similar for my daughter (but not as good as yours) for her 18" dolls. The furniture tools very interesting. I'm not a tool snob... But... Did I see you use a chisel as a screwdriver? TUT TUT 😁

That is a nice dollhouse. Instead of using glue, you can try to use nails to help hold it in together.

don't know exactly how long it took me. worked on it the last 3 weeks. sometimes a half an hour. sometimes more. if i need to quess i would say 8 to 10 hours on everything. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
