Honestly it's only a little faster most of the time. It does separate you from the work a little though. I still enjoy lathe and mill work a lot. But there's times a file is just the right tool. No matter how long it takes.

@BLACK_FORTYFIVE the plans for this came from "Professor Parabellum's Practical Scrap Metal Small Arms vol 7" this is Model 2. From there, it's just getting comfortable with the tools and processes. It's a learning process for sure. The first one isn't typically the best. But just look at it as a lesson learned more than a failure. @jimafcarbon44334 ай бұрын
The keys are to get the most power from the spring possible. And have a smooth action for the hammer and spring that does not bind or catch. As for the shape, it should be as sharp as possible without cutting or piercing the casing. You can see that shape here kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4jYiKyFdtl2d8k

@@jimafcarbon4433It's a reference to an old joke about a cowboy who shot a lot and had other cowboys put a revolver in his anus and rotate it. He lived to be an old man, and advised the young cowboy to cut the fly off in advance if he was going to shoot in inappropriate places. That's a rough translation.

@warrior-0f-light as terrible as that is, it makes more sense now. Legend has it, the American cowboy gunfighters of the old west filed their sights down to make drawing their revolvers from holsters faster. "Clear the leather" faster.

@@jimafcarbon4433It was a joke comment. We often joke, hinting that the larger the gun, the more painful it is to pull it out of your own ass. This is a “meme” that Russians have.
