Any suggestions on how to get a stronger APPLE taste in the Apple Chai tea?
@chkchkpap452 жыл бұрын
Get strong flavored apples. Gala and fuji dont work well for the teas. Try a granny smith or johnathan. And also, maybe try to put a little more of the apple in the tea. Tea is never an exact science just like cooking. Make it how YOU like it, thats the whole point! ❤

@@brendadickey241 for sure! I struggled with the apple flavor as well. I also learned i dont like nearly as much ginger as she uses. But thats the best part about making your own stuff :)

What's better ? Sun-drying or putting it in an oven like this one
@Everythingshemakes3 жыл бұрын
In an oven its more controlled and guaranteed results, sun drying is more natural and cost free but you would have to get 2 days of good sun and no moisture in the air! Both will do!

Did you use oven to dry them?
@kaithtabaquero6 ай бұрын
10 hours in the oven is 💰💰💰 🥹💔 too much electric bill for me. How many hours will it take me for a sun dried? Anyway it’s so hot here in the Philippines. Hehe
@sweetestvibes66423 ай бұрын
It would probably take up to a week. Every day when the sun comes out you put them out to dry in the sun and before the sun sets you bring them inside. Repeat until fully dried. Then store them in a jar in a cool dry place

This is a food dryer, kinda oven but with vents and a fan for the moisture to get out. I dried the fruits 60 degrees Celsius for 10 hours

What kind of oven was that and where can it be purchased? Can conventional ovens work too?
@gabya26843 жыл бұрын
It's a special dehydrator and it went on for 10 hours... conventional oven can do the work too - that I've read- but not sure how long it will take on it or how it works.
@RR-yi8qg3 жыл бұрын
@@gabya2684 thank you for responding. I think I may have found some at Walmart
@Everythingshemakes3 жыл бұрын
It is a food dehydrator, i answered this in other comments, you can read it. Conventional ovens can work but the door need to be kept slightly open for the moisture to go out. And will use way more power than dehydrator, they cost around 100 euros
@RR-yi8qg3 жыл бұрын
