The standard Circular Saw operates at 5000+ rpm. That cordless drill can output no more than 450 rpm.... i mean its fine for proof of concept.... but it is useless for most cases.. You can try whit old wired drills, they can do more than 6000 rpm, to see if there is any difference... never the less, thanks for the video!

@@GreenSaw because as fun as this one is to build, it's only paralleled by how dangerous it'd be for actual use, especially for beginners with little-to-no money who might be tempted by this and use it as a shortcut instead of a shop bought circular saw with depth setting and blade guard.

Cool idea. I am not sure making a electric handsaw is a good thing. It's running off of a drill. A drill has a much lower RPM then a electric handsaw. It also has a much lower power. Average electric saws have about 1 1/2 - 2.5 even 3 hp/ If you have to cut longer pieces of wood, you are going to burn the edges. It's hard on the drill and it will eventually burnout or damage the battery. Just saying.

Hello, thank you for sharing your ideas with us. You are right, the RPM is low. However, I don't think the drill battery will be damaged. Even though it's not as efficient as a real circular saw, I can still use it as a backup. In my last video, I cut a long board. Did you see ?

Yes I did see. You maybe right regarding the drill not burning out. I'm thinking ahead and I suppose if you don't over tax the drill it will help you out in a pinch. @@GreenSaw

Дрель для ручной цыркулярки слаба,малая мощность и мало оборотов. Да и редуктор может легко заклинить ,не рассчитан. А вот Фрезер подойдёт 😊!!!.

I'm really a big fan of your channel, but this is just dangerous...sorry, I would never recreate it like that. A saw blade that is permanently folded out, no thanks. This is my personal and honest opinion.

@@GreenSaw As I have already described, I think that the saw blade should not be left open without a protective cover. There is always a risk of injury.

Сделать ради того чтобы сделать. Делать долго и муторно, пользоваться неудобно. Просто ради контента. Если пила нужна на раз можно взять в прокат, если на постоянку то легче купить, если нет денег то б/у.
