You don't need to buy a fancy scribe, you can cut your own out of a scrap of sheet metal.

I have done many long seams. Working from the right side of the break, the seam will squeeze down easiest if you get it started on the left first.

Is it possible that the part as you show it at 1:33 is just as it leaves the brake at 1:27? To me, it looks like the opening that receives the small angle from the mating piece is not open when the first piece leaves the brake. With the help of this video and other sources, I now know what a Pittsburgh seam is, where it is used and how to make it.

Chris, what device do you have for the Pittsburgh lock that isn’t a brake? I’m working on a vintage camper, and the metal is outrageous to ship. I have two siding brakes but they struggle with really tight bends like these, especially on a long piece, like 12’ long? Any help appreciated
