Homemade mud gives self satisfaction along with looking wetter.. premade product mud is great, use on hard to reach areas/sections which needs just a little & dry, baked look. Nice tutorial again..

Wow, I will try this. How long can you keep the home made earth in a closed jar?
@ScaleWonderland
@ScaleWonderland Жыл бұрын
If you use a good glass glass jar or a plastic one with a screwable lid you can keep it at least one year

Hey hope your doing well. This paste is always my first layer on any diorama. It's the texture that is important since you can paint it after the color you like. You can keep it in a jar for a while, just make sure there's no air and the lid is sealed. I will answer you on instagram, sorry busy with work

I tried it out on a big canvas for a diorama, but somehow my 'mud' seems to stay more 'sandy' somehow, and feels like wet sand, so I doesn't get rock hard. I didn't add the sawdust because I dont have any. So am I doing something wrong?😢
@ScaleWonderland
@ScaleWonderland 5 ай бұрын
@@waikohiphop5761 maybe your ratio water to glue was not right. Also remember that pva glue is 80% water also. The thing with the was dust is that it help retaining some of the water so your mix will be rock hard.
