This is a great tutorial, thank you! I'm just starting to learn to sew (self taught) and have been working on two simple Harvest Moon cosplays. Ive been wanting to try something new and a little more detailed for another cosplay, but had to design it myself because I couldn't really find patterns that came close. This skirt is almost exactly how I want the main part of my skirt to be like so combined with ideas from some of your other videos, it should be a lot easier to get the supplies and start sewing it now! :)

I always go to the thrift store and get patterned sheets or curtains to practice on that way you have lots of fabric in case you mess up and you only spent like $5
