“Is axe, for wood?” “No, is big can opener, for big can.”

Using an axe is so much simpler than all the other guides!!!

Big stump burn fan and their guides involve grinders and saws for the opening.

In Kansas we shoot up the barrel and use a little piece of hardware cloth or wire fencing 🤠

Ok thank you Dean I been burning garbage in a barrel without holes, I will try that.

Interesting way to do it. I built a smokeless fire pit using one barrel inside another. It's a lot more work but it burns so efficiently and so hot that a grill grate on top can't survive a single burn without warping into a melted mess

great timing. just got a "new" barrel and was about to use my hole saw. l'll try this instead. i like that vortex idea. who says old dogs can't learn.👍

Awesome tip! Thanks for the tutorial! I didn't know that Fiskars axe was able to do that. I'm glad it's environmentally friendly and that Singapore does this too.

Would there be any advantage in twisting the ax in the opposite direction to get the vortex counterclockwise to be similar to the fluid flow dynamics in this northern hemisphere?
@ArkopiaYouTube19 күн бұрын
No. Air isn’t like draining water. 👍
@sigrid240219 күн бұрын
@@ArkopiaKZbin don't tornadoes and dust devils rotate counterclockwise. Probably a moot point anyway. So interesting...

Is there a way to make it even hotter? Do you know which temps would be needed to burn plastics as well? Would it Be possible to have some kind of forced air introduction, possibly even pure Oxygen and then at the output some filters? Altho you would need to somehow clean the filters after or if you use water, what has to be done to the water :S
@ArkopiaYouTube19 күн бұрын
You can rig up an enclosed drum with a lid, weld a vortex intake for a leaf blower and an exhaust out the top. That would incinerate almost anything. 👍

@@calysagora3615 as a german i did not really think about small arms exports since our gun laws are so restrictive. and because our gun laws are so restrictive we have really powerful airguns. so when his package said "made in germany" my first assumption was: must be an airgun then. my bad. was an "if - then" response without to much thought put into it.
