DIY Electric Mountain Board (Part 3 FINAL PRODUCT)

This is a new DIY project of building an electric mountain board. Normal electric skateboards did not satisfy me and I wanted to build the king of all electric skateboards. This beast if so powerful I don't dare push it to full speed. I looked around the internet for a long time trying to find a detailed explanation of how to build electric skateboards and electric mountain boards but found it was a majorly lacking subject and decided to pursue this myself. I hope this video can help people build their own and educate people about the workings of a board. If anyone has any questions or if I am incorrect anywhere please point it out in the comments, I too still want to learn!

@@Leetheskill Range, around 60 kilometres, the top speed is 45.5kph. Oh, and it had a Bluetooth subwoofer, dual fast usb charging, dual light bars and a low beam lightbar, and a truck taillight. Plus led underglow. I think... I overdid it. At least my remote won't ever run out of power. I've got it covered

I don't think its actually 16000mah lol, the batteries are kinda sketch but they do last a decent distance. Still died in the middle of a trip before XD. It was so heavy to carry back lmao.

I'm building one like that with 10s4p sanyo 20700b Meepo batteries and 6355 motors, same trucks and tires. Probably going to add more batteries in the summer.

2:25 simple fact sound can be create when electro magnet and magnet is together (vibrating) like in a speaker. Not spining motor. Check your fact

I didn't clock the thing but the math comes to around 50-60km/h (31-37 mph)if I push it to full throttle. The website I bought the stuff from is on a Chinese website that cannot be accessed from anywhere else in the world. The brand is a very local brand and cannot be found anywhere else. Thank you so much for the support! Not that sure what you mean by the skateboard table is expensive. What parts do you want to know about? In some of the comments I have found similar products on amazon. For the belt drive system. Really depends, I have played around with in wheel motors but seeing that this is a mountain board meant to climb the belt drive does provide a lot more torque and it is a lot easier to maintain, swamping out individual broken parts instead of the whole in wheel motor.

Renats that depends on the VESC you purchase. It should come with a programmer either a physical thing or a software to reprogram the settings.

Tbh I don’t recommend the ones on taobao, they don’t exactly deliver on what they say. Don’t need to build a lipo pack, just get lipo batteries and connect them, you don’t need a battery management system if you use existing batteries.

Is the UBEC a Anti-spark system? Is an Anti-spark system not needed if I have a ubec?

To my knowledge it is not. I am pretty sure you need both, some ESC has a BEC that does the job of a UBEC. Anti spark I think is a totally different system that is determined by the connectors that you use.

What voltage lipos are you using?

Each battery is 6s which means 6 cells. Each cell is 3.7 volts. I connected two of these 6s batteries together so its now 12s. 44.4 volts.
