The air vent hols at the bottom are so the heat can get out from the ESC controllers needs to be vented. But overall awesome video thanks for sharing.

I currently have a Verreal V1S and a Blitzart Hurracane dual motor.Both decent budget boards that have served me well but I would like to convert one of them to belt drive because I would like to run the rough stuff wheels. What kit could I buy that would work with one of those boards batteries and esc? Thanks

I think you got the drill bit sizes wrong when you said it. They can't both be 1/4" bits

Backfire ranger is about to release. It's the closest I think because of battery life. Otherwise backfire 2 with the bigger wheel upgrade. Cause it's all about those comfy wheels. (At least where I ride)

Do you think the 10S5P enclosure would fit on the WowGo 2S ??? I got 250 sony VTC4 18650 cells (rated 2.1Ah max 30A/cells). I`m thing about making a DYI 10S5P (10.5Ah max 150A) pack with 10S Li-Ion 50A BMS.

It's pretty thick. You might need some spacers. If you are making a diy pack, it's not hard to make a diy enclosure at the same time.

Thanks marsrover001 ! Also thought about making enclosure with fiberglass, seem like a lot of work though... Anyways the WowGo 2S will be my first electric board. I`m 36 now... Use to ride a twintip alienworkshop in 1998. Gotta get back to it.... Only experience I have on electric is with eBikes. Got a BBSHD and another ebike with a 250W planetary gear hub... I`m thinking maybe I should have gone dual belt driven rather than dual hub.... I`ll start slow and work my way up to faster speed board...

Any reason you went with a drop down deck? How has the gear slipping been, bout to pull the trigger on this kit. Would it be feasible to do mobile belt swaps if you bring tools in a backpack? Really dig this and part one thanks for making them.

Belt drives typically do quite well on hills. He has quite large wheels which will be worse on hills, but overall probably going to get up 25% hills with his setup depending on weight. Be careful with drop through decks that are low to the ground, you need clearance for the casing on the bottom, that's what i'd worry about with that Sector 9 deck.

Yes it would fit. The bigger wheels do affect acceleration and hill climbing. But like the other guy said, I've not found a hill it can't climb.
