The top is adorable. There are a few different straps that are easy to do, but may be too thick for this delicate top. Check Sirin's crochet - new crochet Bikini top for all sizes (from 3 years ago). She makes a very easy and cool cord for the strap.

Hello! I wear size XS/S. I can show you a picture of how this top looks on me on Instagram if needed. 🤗 However, if you've already made the top and it looks big, I would just undo the last rows. Instead of having 16 rows like I did (minute 4:57), you could try 12 or 13. 😄

I used a portuguese yarn called "Praia da Baleia" :) 50g ≈ 150m (1.75oz = 164yd) But you can use any other yarn with a similar size ☺️

I’ve tried watching this video three times and still don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I fixed the first mistake where I wasn’t putting a single crochet in the last triangle but even doing that is now making my top very wide? I love the work you do but do think some clarification of each step/row would be helpful.

You might be increasing at both ends per row. But this pattern increases only at the beginning of every row. ROW 1 - 4 diamonds. Row 2- 5 diamonds. Row 3 - 6 diamonds... until you get to a total of 16 (or less depending on your size) does this help ?
