@mspahn19676 ай бұрын
I've always wanted to try this for winter fishing to warm my hands. Does this put off fumes and would you have to worry about this in a tent while sleeping? And how long does this burn?
@DanielSturge6 ай бұрын
@mspahn1967 burns for about an hour or more. I've used it in tents but always had some form of ventilation. Alcohol burns very clean but gives off some moisture. And obviously it burns oxygen, so just be sure you have ventilation for the air to replace itself. Only times it smokes is when it's burning out because the vapers are not wicking very good from the tissue so it starts to char

Why would you need heated toilet paper?
@DanielSturgeАй бұрын
Huh? I'm not heating toilet paper, I'm using it to make a heater. It's a wick at this point. I mean, you could try wiping with a alcohol soaked blue flame if you want. Let me know how it goes. 😆

May someone put a stove fan on a clay pot heaters.I mean a Wood burner Stove Fan on a brick heater some don't believe that them clay pot heaters makes the room warmer.But what if you put a stove fan on top of a clay pot heaters, will that make the room warmer.Will you do two test.1 with the stove fan and the other text without the stove fan(s) ? Or a hot plate
@DanielSturge Жыл бұрын
The issue would be efficiency. Everytime you convert energy there is energy loss. The fan is taking heat energy and turning it into mechanical energy and that actually uses up a small amout of heat energy. They don't produce any more heat but instead circulate the air so you don't have hot spots around the stove, and cold spots around the room. So the heat it produces would just be averaged out around the heated area instead of just close to and above the pot. Unfortunately, I don't have a stove fan anymore.

That's an Affective stove/ heater in a Pinch, Is there any special reason you use 70% Sturge Man? Not 90% ? 🤜🏻🤛🏻☘️
@DanielSturge Жыл бұрын
No just for as I said in the video. I prefer 70 because I mostly use it for warming up before getting in my sleeping bag or warming hands when ice fishing. 70 is a good % flame and heat. 90 will spit tall flames and makes it almost unmanageable for in a canvas tent or warming hands, and the flame just flickers up too much.

The Question is How to make Alochol (medical)
@DanielSturge Жыл бұрын
Lol. Asking for a friend huh?
@ruinsmars98595 ай бұрын
Look out ! You don't need the toilet paper for it to work. Alcohol burns just fine without it and no wiking device is needed when usung alcohol.
@DanielSturge5 ай бұрын
@ruinsmars9859 I know. But you need it for it to be safe. The wick is so it does not spill. Burning alcohol in a container that can spill its a recipe for disaster because of its "invisible" flames, especially in the woods.
