Hey man need help the wiring that connects to the radiator fan is not working. Do you think if I take it to an electric auto shop they can somehow wire it to work? I don’t want to replace the whole engine wiring harness . It’s an Infiniti Q50 2015

My 93 240 KAT doesn’t go passed 2.5 rpm everything is pretty healthy. I’ve been told it can be a wiring harness issue not to sure what exactly is necessary and what’s not cause there’s a lot of stranded connectors from deleting stuff

By cutting this Engine Harness you basically destroyed the whole Harness. Never cut Engine Harness if unnecessary, especially not for looming purposes only. the soldering joints on the wires will be now the weakest point in the harness. always chose to crimp over soldering in the automotive zone. for looming OEM Harness always de-pin the connectors. there's a DEPINNING tool for every connector out there. learn what type of connector you work on. Use Fabric Heat Shrink Tubing or Raychem DR-25 Heat Shrink for looming. never use electrical tape on Engine Harness it will absorb oil and gunk and the glue will melt and will get you sticky contaminated wires. Use only Low Static "Kapton" adhesive tape if for some reason you want to tape wires or protecting service loops under heat shrinked connectors. The silicone adhesive in Kapton tape does not leave any residue.

I know I’m probably hella late. There looks to be deutsch DTM or DT connectors there, it requires a second piece to be removed before a small screwdriver can lever the pin retainers back..

I have a set of 1993 240sx stock bucket seats and the stock carpet they are grey. If you need any of these let me know and maybe we can work out you paying shipping an I will send them to you. I have bought new carpet and seats for mine, but I didn't want to throw it out because it is all still good. let me know if your interested.

I'm in Florida if you want I can get a couple of pics to you. the carpet and seats need a bit of cleaning, an the drivers seat has a small tear in the side like most do. I can also find out about what shipping will cost to NY for them. But overall for your budget build I think they might work just fine. besides I don't mind helping your channel out, you've shed a lot of light on the RB20 swap I'm currently doing in my own 240.

Just a little advice for next time, you can take a heat gun and melt the ends of the braided wire loom and it will not fray apart at the ends. You can also use tie string at the connectors instead of tape for a more cleaner look. That’s how we do it on aircraft.

Hi Kalvin, I had to give you a thumbs down on this video. Ultimately, your video only shows what your finished work looks like, but does very little to show the viewers how to do this job for themselves. I can piece together some useful information here, but you have not offered very much instructions on doing the procedure. A tip, showing the wire connection procedure, explaining what gauges of wire were used, giving names and part numbers for the plugs involved, naming all the parts of the vehicle that the harness connects to, ect. If some of this information had been presented, I wouldn't have given the thumbs down. Sorry.
