Feels kinda weird commenting on a video that's years old but I'm working my way from the start of the project. Gotta say I love the "boring" content. Way too many people glamorize this kind of stuff and when people start doing the work they feel like it's going wrong because it's slow and tedious. Stuff takes time and I'm loving it. Can't wait to be all caught up.

You're gonna need CFM for sandblasting not so much PSI.

$20 HF gun is great for primer slinging, but I'm glad you've got a nicer gun to run for your paint.

Guys if you enjoy watching Kalvins videos please consider a paid subscription - lets all help drive him forward. He has not asked for this but he does need our support. Looking good bro, would be great to get a count down list back up on the board so we can all count down with you until completion. Happy New Year.

From where was the car? If it was from northeastern japan, then maybe it got flooded during the 2011 tsunami

Wow good tip on grounding the gun to the cabinet 🤙🏾. I had the same thing happening to me on my harbor freight cabinet Lol . Did the metering valve mod and picked up an old school craftsman 30 gallon air compressor on Facebook marketplace for like 40 bucks and took the cylinder and piston off and cleaned and resealed everything good as new . Can be rewired to 220amp and puts out like 12cfm . That thing took my lca's down to clean bare metal in a quick 5 minute sesh . A diy powder coating oven would be life changing 🔥

Get the fenders, reobar, bumper all on, you'll be motivated. I wouldn't put the doors on till the interior is all in and 100% sorted (its heaps easier)

Nice. I've had a blasting cabinet for a few years and I have modified my own by putting much brighter lights inside, enchanced the suction tube, put a cyclone to the vacuum line and the window for looking through I just made much larger in total and easier for removal with rivet nuts. It was a constant sorrow for me to keep the window clean. And I blast with aluminum oxide, it's just the best. Tried glass and everything but this has been the most efficient. Always a joy to use, easy to keep things tidy clean
