Shop cabinet build! Learning to use the Milescraft euro hinge jig to install budget amazon hinges. These are concealed hinges. These include full and half overlay frameless soft-close hinges. Red oak plywood with Minwax warm satin wipe-on polyurethane finish.

Hi, how do you know where to mark the line inside the cabinet wall? I bought this jig but can't figure out how to use the red jig (The one used inside the cabinet wall)😅 hope you can help me

@@WarlockUberElite sure, my cabinets are frameless and the doors line up with the bottom of the cabinet frame. So I just measured from the bottom to the center of the red piece. I think 3" or 4" depending on where you put the pin in the hole drilling jig. Basically the center of the red jig should line up with the center of the hole that is cut on the door.

Thanks. What was the 3mm and 4mm you were referring to ? The distance of the large hole from the edge ?

Yup, correct. The milescraft is adjustable from 3-7mm I believe.

Well I was targeting a 1/8" gap in all my doors. The hinge said it should be 3mm. When testing, 3mm was right on the limit of getting to a small 1/8" gap with the hinge adjustment. So 4mm or 5mm just makes sure I have enough adjustment.

The hinge has adjustability, but still needs to have the right range of adjustment to make sure the door gap is right.

@@ClassicActWorkshop Ok, so you had to drill the hole a little further into the door, now I get it. Thanks for that. I know I have a mistake somewhere in doing this. 🤪
