A really lovely result! The only thing I would change would be the built-in bookcases. They invite to clutter with the small distance between the shelves. If you are not a reader or pretend to be and fill it with books it does not look good. I would either take some of the shelves off to have create space for either pictures or preferably sculptures or install doors and use it for storage. Just my humble opinion and wisdom from House of Valentina!

One of my favorite videos of yours! I loved that you walked us through the prep and decision dilemmas. As someone who loves to redecorate, I find myself questioning everything & every step- when designers always seem to "just know" and "get it right". The way you shared your thinking and planning was so very helpful. I LOVE the finished project- thinking a rec room should be allowed to have its own color and coziness away from the neutrals of other spaces.

Ughhhh this makes me feel so cozy!!! It literally gives me an oxytocin or a dopamine hit 😂 warm fuzzies. The molding is beautiful but let me tell you how much I wouldn't get to dusting it. 😅 The books, florals, vases, books, are just dreamy!!! I love love the dark wood - both coffee tables and frames. Sigh..... While the furniture is BEAUTIFUL and elegant and trendy, I could NEVER do that color (much less spend that much on it) so I wonder how I could get a room this cozy with a more reasonable family color furniture 🤔
