You can also get the "gathered" fabric more quickly by setting the thread tension really high on your machine (if you're using a machine). It automatically gathers the fabric so you don't have to sit and pull the thread through the fabric.

Is possible to make the flowers from satin fabric?

Hi Meera, Yes, satin works great for these flowers. With polyester satin, you can melt the edges slightly with a candle to stop the fabric from fraying as shown in the video.

Any lightweight fabric would work, though a fabric that frays easily may not look the best because the edges are raw. You can melt the edges on any polyester fabric.
