Wow Kelly that is absolutely gorgeous. I would have never thought of that but I'm thankful that you made a video using 2 of my favorite items to work with which is Cork and denim. As a ten-year-old my friends and I had borrowed one of their mother's sewing machines. We started cutting off everything from the zipper down. We turn them inside out and soak straight across the bottom and made purses out of them the zipper stayed in it so you can sip the purse up. An oriental woman was the one that taught me and my friends have to do this. And ever since then I have loved working with denim. Thank you for the video I think this is what I will be doing on my next project. Thank you for creating it using a cross one of my other favorite items to work with. Wow.. Very nice I love it . I recently have lost alot of weight & just moved all my storage as well . and as I was going through things I found a huge tube of nice jeans . some I will modify making me new clothes . but I'm sure I will have left overs ..and I don't like to toss good fabric .. Love the denim idea. Our Church has a free clothes closet. Once a month you can shop for free. These are donated items. When we sort items that we don’t feel are not nice enough to give away we set them aside. I collect the buttons from really worn clothing and unusual fabric items, flowers and bows. Of course all the denim that is not useable. Great way to recycle. Do you have a project for jean pockets?

LOL! 😂 I thought you were making denim coasters for the longest while! Something else you can do for girls with jeans👖 that are too short is add layers of cute fabric, rickrack, ribbon, etc. to the legs.
