It's not auto focus. Auto focus in fiber laser is something else entirely. What I'm demonstrating in the beginning of the video is THC

@@TAMARbarCNC Wow, how is this possible, most THCs use arc voltage to maintain a consistent distance from the plate while the torch is cutting but you were demonstrating it without cutting, nor does a fiber laser have a arc. Awesome machine that you have built btw!

My THC uses arc voltage as well. I've managed to connect the fiber laser head capacitance sensor to the thc. So the sensor sending voltage to the thc, and the thc thinks it's arc but it not haha.

I'm using centroid acorn 4 axis plasma controller. It's a plasma controller kit from centroid that includes THC, and I've made it compatible with fiber laser.

Currently yes, besides the rotary axis with is servo. I plan to replace all the close loop to servo.
