Great job, looks very nice. Suggestion so you don't have to reach in every time to turn it off and on, Purchase a smart plug from Amazon. That way you can turn it on with your phone or if you have Alexa you can just say trun on fireplace

Girl you did that........I love it. I have been searching for a fire wall design thG did not require me to be bob the builder. Ever design I saw you had to be building these big walls. I love this. It's something I can do. I would probably try plywood etc but gonna see how much a pro would charge to build me one then I will decide.

We are building a house and I need my fire place for Christmas so if I can't afford a pro to build it, I will build this version. It's exactly what I was looking for except I was looking for an entertainment system I could insert it in. I also don't know if this would work for a fire place that has heat.

There are “Stand alone” type of electric fireplaces that have heat and no heat feature and look realistic. Some come with storage. Some even with book shelves. But good job, DIYs are fun.

I've got another tip!!! Tie the legs together and pull it away from the wall, that way you can have easy access and full control on the tightness of the board to the stands. Hope I didn't offend. Just thought that would be a great idea! Love your work!!! Have a great 2023!!!

You should plug in fireplace to a surge plug by itself n that way u can leave fireplace button on n you the surge plug on n off at end by the foot u made. I use them for my tv as on n off button it’s easier. . Very nice n creative , gave me some ideas
