Thank you for taking the time to put this out. I see some people - including myself wanting to over build my wood storage shed. And really, I don’t need to, just as you mention. It’s a storage shed. Not a utility shed. And with lumber prices, I don’t want anything fancy or extra, just something solid and eye pleasing. So Thank you for this.

I had another question: I don’t know if your skids are PT for ground contact, but if it was, would you have placed blocks under your skids? I have a 4x6 pt ground contact and wondering if I need blocks as well.

PT lumber doesn't need blocks. I used PT (cedar tone) for everything except the side 1x8 panels. The blocks were more for getting the floor level and it was easier than trying to level the ground with roots everywhere. It also helped elevate it a bit more for air flow to help dry the wood from underneath.

@@in-depthdiy2123 That makes sense. With lumber prices they way they are, I am trying to limit what I don’t need. And since I am doubling the width, this might get a little spendy. But, at least it will look good. I’m sure I probably spent more than that just in going out to fast food or restaurants in a year. Lol.
