Made it, thank you! As shown, put lots of pins around the "mouth" when sewing the channel so the lining and shell match up. If there's too much material in the shell it's okay because it gets scrunched up when you close it anyway. EDIT: Made it again and pressing before sewing the channel helped. Also careful when you fold in the tail it doesn't bunch up on the corners when you sew over it. I will leave it unfolded next time.
