I loved this. Also another way to explain the gathering would be to say when you have finished doing the bottom piece. Gather the top piece to fit the bottom piece. Match the seam lines up as you gather and the ends to the ends. I love your creations and hope to try it when I find the perfect shirt. Xx

Love the narration 😂! Gonna try this on a flannel tshirt “dress”. I hope it’ll still look good if i add the remaining fabric to the bottom of the cinched waist piece, I’d rather this be a dress than a shirt.

For anyone who has never done gathers before: I would recommend sewing two parallel stitches and pulling the top two threads!! It makes it easier to pull and especially helpful on heavier fabrics so your thread doesn’t snap! :))
