Use something like an Adafruit Feather, they take no space whatsoever.

@@Auto5k that's the point. this is a final year bachelor project of engineering. I had to design the entire system from scratch, the combination of computer and electrical system. meaning I need to create my own circuits.

great project! im wondering if this could be used for buttons when there are screws placed very close. as thickness is a limitation for my project. also the thing im trying to replicate uses a flexible PCB just not for the button's
