DIY Floral Seat (Photo Shoot prop) Log Holder Circle Swing with Flowers

In this video I'm showing you a very fun DIY project! I created a floral seat (swing) from a log holder. I'm also showing you Behind The Scenes shots from a photo shoot in between the flowers and lovely blossoming trees!

IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

Hello Fenna, I know this is an old video but I just bumped onto your channel about 2 months ago. I truly enjoy watching your projects. I wanted to let you know I made this loop using the firewood log holder. I had to modify my version a bit, but still worked out fantastic and I have had many compliments. I just tried to find a big size of the frame here in Germany. But the usually one you can get, is only the 70cm for 30€, there is another one 80cm one, but I think it's to expensive. My idea will be to use two 90cm wooden hula hoops with wood crossbars between. It will be also a very light construction. Maybe an idea for any other interested people

I love your videos. This one is my favorite. I am actually in process of doing this diy. Can we just use twine for the seats and cover everything else with garlands and fake flowers. Or is there a reason why you covered with twine all over the circle?

Thank you! I covered it all with twine, so it would be okay if it shows. If you can cover it all with flowers etc, it should be okay. However photographing from different angles might show the metal and for that I preferred the twine.

It's actually really easy. You just cut the stem a bit shorter and stick them in. The ends will go in between the burlap. I thought I filmed that too, but it wasn't recording. Will do better next time :)
