looks amazing but my only warning to others would be that this would boost the humidity on your book shelf a lot, this could lead to mold growing on your books so maybe put plastic covered ones near it.
@_.-._.-.2 жыл бұрын
As long as your books are decent quality and the room is ventilated I don't think mold would be a problem; I'd expect more just warping of the book pages which most people don't care about
@willythepeachfacelovebird2 жыл бұрын
@@_.-._.-. Nah. Mould will likely grow regardless.
@jsedge24732 жыл бұрын
@@_.-._.-. I'd imagine anyone with a bookshelf cares about their books being warped and destroyed or else they wouldn't have a bookshelf lmao. And I also disagree in that I think mold would definitely grow... You're putting water and live plants 2 centimeters away from books with no real barrier - how will mold not grow? It's beautiful of course, but I don't see how it's practical. Although Tanner is an expert at what he does so I'm sure he thought it through and maybe I am wrong.
@haifutter41662 жыл бұрын
@@jsedge2473 I had an aquarium, so I'm sure tiny water droplets will definitely land on the nearby books, so I wouldn't put a book directly next to it, that isn't plastic wrapped. Another risk are leaks, although less likely...
@theoldmanandthesea63802 жыл бұрын
Maybe some fake books near it by Burroughs, Melville or Nordhoff would stand up to the humidity.

Hey there Tanner! After watching your videos I jumped right in and made my first terrarium using garden weeds, a pierced plastic layer to create a false bottom. Today I made my second one and this time I purchased a very cheap Syngonium Pixie which looks stunning. I created a rock feature and added some dry leaves. It all looks great.
