This is amazing thank you! What was the name of the thickest foam you used?
@UsernameKyle4 жыл бұрын
Hey Patrick. The foam I used was out of a second hand seat i cut and reused the foam from. Nothing replaces seat foam better than seat foam itself! Good luck :)

Hey I like your video, Good editing, interesting and good job. Why did you stop making videos? 15,000 views on your second video pretty good

Can the back of the seat be fixed in any way( the part where the foam is thinner)? My 307 sw driver seat feels like it's destroyed inside, back part in the left.

I used Parfix 500ml Fast Grip Adhesive. Form bunnings, good stuff but a bit pricey at $15 for 500ml

does anyone just sell new foam?
@UsernameKyle3 жыл бұрын
As in brand new shaped foam for the seats? If so the dealer might still hold them at their Wearhouse (won't be cheap) or try your luck on eBay, worth a shot

where do you get this foam from ?
@UsernameKyle3 жыл бұрын
Hey Scotty. I get the majority of my foam from a place called Clarke Rubber but foam similar can be found in an existing seat you get from a wrecker or scrap yard. But if that's not an option you can always get a foam pool floaty or even a pool noodle. Honestly your options are endless just depends how creative you want to get. Good luck !

@@UsernameKyle right on now where to get the cover material????fabric store ? and is the a name for the seat material?
@UsernameKyle3 жыл бұрын
The material i used i got from a shop called Spotlight. Its a material store here in Australia. I don't remember it having a specific name but if you ask for 4mm backing foam you'll be able to find it (if not 4mm, anything thicker will work). It's mainly used for being stitched onto the back of cloth to make it stronger but works perfect for repairing foam seats aswell 👌

@@UsernameKyle my man!!! i used the pool noodle and that worked like a charm thanks for the game (info) that was a free noodle also the next step is to repair the torn seat cover if i can do that i will be cooking with grease lol.. thanks again bro
