Omg using a bit of hot glue to keep the hinge in place is GENIUS!! Thank you!!! Hours of frustrating swearing avoided! So clever

This seller ships this item very carefully to ensure that your room divider kzbin.infoUgkxWv_wTHyTRVm0QkcOw1Rz2-5g_gDoRTkU is not damaged in transit. They even place stickers saying glass, handle with care. I originally bought a 4 panel room divider, but after receiving it I knew I needed larger for the area I was trying to hide. I wanted a 6 panel, but it was not offered in the Espresso color that I wanted, so I went with 5 panels. This is serving my purpose very well on hiding my dog's pee pads. I ended up using the 4 panel one in a corner behind my Christmas tree. The best thing is you do not have to put anything together, you just take it carefully out of the box and place it where you want it. It can be moved around very easily. Plus, these dividers start at the floor, so nothing is seen moving around on the other side like some other dividers I looked into. Now that I have a 4 and 5 panel one, I am sure that I can get them to overlap and work other ways should I need to in the future.

This is great. Been trying to think of a way to keep my cats out of my new studio control room while allowing them access through the area. I think this will look great, despite how much they’ll cry about not being allowed in there.

Your video is simply GREAT. Without much fuss, straight to the point, precise instructions. I was worried making a room divider higher than 6', but with the total panel width of approx. 24" it is perfect, it's like an additional wall. Will take your advice and take thicker panels. May I ask about the weight of that divider?
@WendiWachtelH2OBungalow4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much and that's a good question. It wasn't too heavy but I used two people to move it after it was assembled just because it was so much bigger than me. I think a taller/bigger person could move it easily by themselves.

Great video, and great instructions, thank you! I would like to re-create this but actually attach it to the wall, so would you recommend adding a plank to the wall before screwing the hinges in, or is directly into the wall ok?
@WendiWachtelH2OBungalow4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cass! That's a good question. I'd definitely add a plank to the wall and attach it with hinges/. What a super idea by the way!

Could I make it with half inch thick plywood, or would it be too unstable?
@WendiWachtelH2OBungalow3 жыл бұрын
If you sandwich the clear panels between the two sides of 1/2" plywood I think it would be ok. In other words, the 1/2" plywood would be doubled.

what can i use to cover the gaps between the folding screen?
@WendiWachtelH2OBungalow3 жыл бұрын
Do you mean between each panel? If so, this design isn't the nest option for you. I'd probably a build a wall on wheels with no gaps that can move around. Thanks for watching!
