The culture here is a complete surprise to us in a positive way. We live an Texas and visited border town years ago that were more like tourist traps. They served food that we could get in South Texas. Your experience with traveling deep into Mexico is much different.

That's awesome to here! Each region is known for different things. So one state to the next is a totally different experience. I definitely think you have to visit a few to get different items and feel for each states culture.

Wait a second. El Pasito limits guests to 5 pasitos?? 20% abv is half as strong as your typical liquor, even weaker than Malibu. It's standard for a fortified wine. But they're serving it as a shot. Which means they limit guests to what would equate to 2.5 shots of vodka?? That's literally the same amount of alcohol in one martini or manhattan. I find this to be crazy. Lol, you guys are great, though! Love your content. I'm going to Mexico for 6 months over this coming winter. You're expanding my "hit list!"

The tacos arabes doesn’t use pita bread. It’s a regular tortilla de harina that’s slightly bigger. My parents are from Puebla and I always get tacos arabes every time I go out there. My cousins even have a stand and sell tacos arabes and cemitas, they are delicious. Tacos arabes y mole poblano are a must when in Puebla!
