Thanks so much! I think gel stains are sometimes able to get a deep color that oil based can’t.

Hi Chelsea.. hope you've had a good week so far. I've seen several people build their own frames for their TVs. I think it's a cool idea! That's exactly what i want to do with ours. You def save a lot of money. I love the trim pieces you picked out, it's very pretty! I would stain it too, not paint it.. yours really turned out pretty! Taliking about not caring if things aren't perfect..that's what we call being imperfectly perfect! Which is what we are, and I love it!😁❤ Oh Wow.. it turned out gorgeous Chelsea! I love it!❤ The art in it is beautiful too.(i love al the Christmas arts, you'll have fun with that!!) It looks just the same as any framed TV, maybe prettier! Our tv sits on the stand it came with. But one this one goes out. I will be buying a frame tv. And we will hang it. The one we have is old and it’s too heavy. We don’t want to hang it. We have plenty of room. It would work out better if our tv was hung up. You did a great job. That looks great. Now I’m going to have to see how heavy the tv would be without the stand. It makes it look like a piece of art. That turned out great.
