I love the idea of using Oracle cards as a spread casting deck. I actually already used Tarot (really) for inspiring spread positions. I used to pick a Tarot card and create a spread (usually a three-card spread) based on it. But since Oracle cards have a much more straightforward meaning, that’s easier to create spreads based on them.

I made one of these 2 years ago. This video would have been nice to have then. There was a lot of scouring the web looking for all the different cards included in that deck. 😅😂 It was fun though. I will have to compare this to what I made to see if I left anything out. Thanks for this!

Hi Georgina, could you explain more or even do a video on how to use the deck of 1000 spreads, how to determine which cards to use for a particular spread and situation?

It’s pretty much just cards that relate to the positions one would find on the Celtic Cross. The original set included a book with suggestions, but a better book for developing spreads is this one by Barbara Moore, “Tarot Spreads: Layouts & Techniques to Empower Your Readings.” (Llewellyn Publications, 2012)

Hi Georgina thanks for link hat measurement would you recommend presumable bigger than tarot deck card so you can see the hearing?

I actually use small cards in my own private practice (so I can save table space). But if your spreads are small, you can probably go with the larger size.
