DIY Front suspension with differential and steering gear

I'm considering a simple 4 wheeled electric car build. To simplify the build, I'd use a handlebar steering system and mountain bicycle front suspension for the suspension most likely. However if my build only goes 27 MPH, then maybe I would just have it be completely ridged. Nice work, it's cool that you can do so much with just wood.

This isn't how most steering columns work... Most cars use a rack and pinion (although this is the style on small machines like lawnmowers and stuff)

It could be a proper double wishbone suspension, with some more axles up and down and 2 shock springs to absorb vibrations, that would be even better. Still, amazing project!

It's beautiful - but if I'd been doing it myself, I think I would have made just a little more effort to make it more realistic. You seem to have a tilting table on your fretsaw, so with very little extra effort, you could have cut beveled gears for the diff and for the motor drive into the diff. Also, the steering geometry - in your model, it seems to me that the two front wheels would follow equal-diameter circles, where the inside wheel should follow a smaller diameter circle. Still, as a demonstration, it's really great - and I didn't do it, so I shouldn't criticise.
