DIY Fuel Filter Change - Mercedes ML 320 cdi

In this video I change out the fuel filter on my 2008 Mercedes 320 cdi (W164) with the OM642 3.0L turbo Diesel.
Tools required:
E10 torx bit
Slotted screwdriver
5mm Hex (allen key)
T20 torx bit

MINE HAS NO POWER WHEN ACCELERATE,, COULD IT BE THAT FILTER?? had it 4 months w/out use it. the SUV 320 CDI

It’s possible you got moisture accumulation in the tank during the storage - especially if the tank wasn’t full. It’s probably worth changing. But I would plug in a scanner to see what codes may be showing up.

@@boatinglife1 THANK YOU, I GOT THE MERCEDES SCANNER,, WILL CHECK IT ASAP, IT HAS 1/4 TANK LIKE 5 MONTHS OLD DIESEL., MAYBE 6 Months old.
