I am so glad you used simple hand tools. KZbinrs are very guilty of using $10K worth of machines and tooling to produce something like this and it alienates their audience. congratulations on showing something that is possible to the average person.

To be honest, a jigsaw and a circular sander would have done most of this job a ton faster. At a total of only about $100 - $150 AU dollars for both tools.

@@michaelipsen3667 sure for this case, but many KZbinrs use 5 diget equipment to make a cutting board and call it "DIY".... Congrats on this build! Awesome for the tools you were using.

Great video I love that this was all with basic tools but I literally saw no care for safety. You literally were cutting the boards with bare hands and feet. At least where gardening gloves and sneakers or something so that you have a net of safety between you and the tools. Seriously though it’s great work but you should promote some sort of safety when you are posting things online so people don’t stupidly copy you and then blame you for their injuries.

This is a sick build! I'm not a huge fan of the 'gamer' aesthetic but I'm insanely impressed with your desk none the less! The fact that you and your bro made this with basic hand tools is mind blowing!
