I run a voluntary sewing project in surrey, England and needed somewhere to keep my scissors, needles etc for the class. This is perfect and the instructions were fantastic.

Thank you for your great pattern and clear instructions. I used your video to make an apron to wear at my job at a garden center. I made a couple of modifications to suit my purposes-an elastic button closure to secure my phone and two belt loops in the front to secure the ties. I made corners instead of rounding the edges. I’m sure I’ll make more of these.

Thanks for watching our video and used it to make an apron for yourself. I love the idea of elastic to secure the phone in the pocket. Also the belts loops are a wonderful idea.

I saw one of these gardening aprons in a gift shop recently, and even though it was really cute and I would have loved to have it, it was way too expensive! Looking at the many videos on YT that show how to make one, I like yours the best. Thank you for such a quality video; your instructions were easy to understand, and the apron is really nice! It’s raining so hard right now, it looks like I’m going to have a bit of a wait before I can give it a test drive working in my yard! Thank you so much for such a great, easy to understand tutorial!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very good video. Although, either video and link to instructions does not mention the length or size for the strap.

Hi! Sorry we missed it in the video but in the instructions under step 3 it says to cut 2 pieces of the fabric 2-1/2" wide by 45-46" long which would be the width of the fabric. Here are the written instructions: www.needlepointers.com/main/youtubecontent.aspx?youtubepageid=396 Happy Sewing!

One thing I have noticed in a lot of sewing videos is the presenter uses dark fabric. I realize they may want dark fabric on their finished product, but for demonstration purposes, it prevents the viewer from actually seeing what is being illustrated. I just feel by using lighter fabric the stitching will be clearer to the viewer. No negativity meant . Just an observation note.

I had a very difficult time seeing what she was doing because of the colors used. Stripes were making my eyes crazy. I wish she had used other prints. But I like the apron pattern overall.
@Needlepointers3 жыл бұрын
Sorry the stripes bothered you eyes. When selecting the fabric, I felt the three fabrics, the solid, print and strip, complimented one another.

Hi Bahama Mama! The video starts from the beginning. It's likely that the place you clicked from started you in the middle of the video. Google search will do this! Try again and rewind to the beginning. :)
