DIY Garden Office - Games Room - Battens / Battening

Hi Kev, great series of informative videos, can’t wait to you the finished garden room. I am planning to do similar this year and be grateful if you answer some questions. Firstly, what is the brand/model of what I guess to be a nail gun. Did you buy this to build the garden room as a more efficient way to build vs impact driver and screws? If so, do you think it was worth it? Secondly, did you have to apply for planning permission and/or building control? I ask as I wasn’t sure if this is needed as part of your electrician making your final connections and signing off the work, also if your choice to get Cladco sheeting was in some way to achieve a non combustible material near any border. Mine will be within 1m of sides and rear of garden room, but I have read so many different views on what may/may not be required. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
