DIY Gardena Water Timer Controller Repair

In this episode, we will repair a Gardena Water Timer Controller
We will use a Gardena 1815-00.617.00 Membrane spare part.
This is the most commonly failing part, and is a common part for most of Gardena water timers.
The repaired controller in this video is an old T 1030 D

What was your initial problem? My 1030 has a very low flow when starts. Membrane is ok, but maybe it's old and not elastic any more

my one has electronic problem. when manual ON it the voltage comes on 9v but then when i off it it shoud come on again but with reversed polarity. but not volatge come out when i off mine. so water keep flowing out.

I have an electric problem too... The valves are the same, but the system is not exactly this one. Everytime the thing tries to run, It stops and wont work again until I take out the battery

If the light grey top connector has lost its thread..(the connector to the external water tap)..can this be removed and replaced ?..good video by the way :-)

Greetings David Black, I don't think so. If you manage to get it out, I can't think of a way to press a new one in place.

Yes you can have a new one. First you must push two little metal pins that are keeping it in place though.

Unfortunately you went far too fast at the parts i needed to see. Im attempting to reassemble one which was taken apart by someone else and therefore need to see the order of assembly.
