This makes sense Visually aswell, you can see the sandal moves with the shape of there foot to support it, it doesn’t seem to be a wooden geta sandal, so the materiel used in this would fit that, flexible and comfortable

I would think that the shoelace knots on the bottom would be uncomfortable. Is this the case or no?

I feel like if the knots were uncomfortable you can take an exacto knife to the foam of the sandal and make a little crater just big enough for the knot

i saw another tutorial on this. he sewed buttons on the bottom instead to fit the small crater? in the slippers

thanks for the tutorial! im gonna try cosplaying shinobu at a convention soon and i was just gonna wear black shoes to save money instead of buying premade ones- i couldnt find pure white flip flops but turns out any printed design on the top can just be removed with nail polish remover and scrubbing! just be sure theres an open window near you 😅

I did a very similar way for my shoes for zenitsu and tanjiro only thing different is I didn’t have the back part go around my leg and I didn’t use a shoelaces for the bottom of the shoe

Deku I used a clear bra strap thing attached it to the back straps that way you wouldn’t see the strap and it would look like it does in the show

since i am soon gonna be ordering a Muichiro Tokito cosplay i need the socks the boots are fine and the sword is gonna be the most expensive but whatever- now i am scared it will come small since M would fit me perfectly but i am tall so i have to get an L (sleeves are still gonna be short but whatever and i know that asian sizes are different soo- i don't know if i should get the L or go for XL) (but i guess i will be getting the L i'll see)

I don't really understand how you were able to flip the fabric inside out with the pencil. I tried and I'm not able to do it. Do you have any tips or suggestions?

if you are having trouble using a pencil try a crochet hook. The idea is to pull one side of the fabric through the rest so it turns inside out but it can be tricky
