Great project! I already have a couple packs of the cutting mats and just bought some of the DT glitter vinyl, which might be cool to cover the foam board with. I bet it would look nice if the disposable plate was one of those clear ones that look like cut glass. A quick tip for you: If you score the cutting mat first, it will be easier to fold and the fold will stay better.

Sorry just getting back to you. The measurements on the video is 6 1/2. But, you can make them as wide as you like. Good Luck!

@@SRD1967 art deco. Think 1930s wealthy new york park avenue socialite. I want sconces to go around my fireplace. I already have a metallic style artwork on the mantel, I don't want bling sconces. it would be too much. I think something a bit more streamline but a tad masculine would balance it. Do u think? Need help tho.

Hello have thought about using the aluminum border. You spray or you can give it the distressed look.

I’m sorry just seeing this message. I bent the plastic on both sides making a fold. Then I cut the board the width I wanted for the space I wanted in between the two.. I hope this helps
