My youngest son just passed away 6 months ago in a car accident working for Uber eats . He left behind a 2 yr old and a girlfriend who had had stole his heart sense they was were 12 yrs old 💕…. She is a Senior this year ! She is a Momma at a very young age who now has lost her true love and her child’s father .She has pushed through it all . She is not only a mother , but a honor roll student and works about 5 nights a week . I am so grateful god has brought her and my granddaughter into my life . Losing my son Has been the hardest thing I have ever been through however I don’t know his plan , but I know god has a plan .I realized that when that little granddaughter of mine was born and my son was taken from me . Back to Alyssa , she has been through so much heartache at such a young age and to be graduating with honors I could not express how happy I am for her ! She might not of had the future she had dreamed of, but she will have an incredible and beautiful journey when school is done and Adulthood begins. Thank you so much for sharing this . My plans are to do it like you had , but in 1 picture put My son , her and their daughter in one and give this to her on graduation day along with some other Diy I can find along the way. This Diy touched me before this had ever happen to my son . Then After I knew this was the one !!! Thank you for sharing this !

I love this idea. You have inspired me to create a smaller version for table decorations at my daughter's barn wedding. I think these will be fabulous on a DIY pedestal in the middle of the tables. Perhaps putting the reception menu in place of the announcement or just the table numbers.

OMG this was my idea also.... inspired by one at Walmart...it was black had 4 sides and had a bigger square top and a gold cord and a faux tassel .....and I was like it is so little...but Omg I got the lantern idea on here so I'm gonna make mine for my son's graduation with this size or 5x7s and make the grad cap and tassel!...glad you made this one!
